Preschool/Pre-K

Ages 3-5

Pre-K students are still learning their letters and letter sounds. For these pre-readers, we provide lots of hands-on activities that will help them learn the pre-literacy skills needed to become proficient readers later on. This age group includes read-alouds for listening comprehension, phonological awareness games that include movement and music, as well as process art and dramatic play to enhance the learning experience.

Kinder Readiness/Kindergarten

Ages 4-6

For Kindergarten students, we focus on early reading and literacy skills to set our young learners up for future academic success. Our Kinder Readiness/Kindergarten program also includes hands-on activities that go along with the concepts we're learning together. For our kinder students, we'll begin using decodable passages to work on phonics patterns like CVC words and digraphs. We also begin learning early writing skills.

Ages 5-7

For students who are just beginning to read, we provide decodable passages and early readers as well as multi-sensory phonics activities to encourage our first and second grade students to love reading and become successful readers through a research-based approach to early literacy.

We also include writing activities to go along with our reading program.
